Summary

Amends the:

Social Security Act 1991
and
Social Security (Administration) Act 1999
to: allow all disability support pensioners to work up to 30 hours a week without having payments suspended or cancelled;
Social Security Act 1991
to: provide that certain disability support pensioners under 35 years of age with a work capacity of at least eight hours a week attend participation interviews and develop a participation plan with Centrelink; and provide that certain disability support pensioners may live outside Australia indefinitely and continue to receive the disability support pension; and
Child Support (Assessment) Act 1989
,
Social Security Act 1991
and
Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986
to make technical amendments.
